How to Connect Webhooks with Webex Interact

The integration will allow you to receive data from Webhooks and send messages from Webex Interact. For example, you can write to potential clients that their application has been accepted for work and they will be called back soon, or send personalized offers. This will allow you to effectively automate workflows and save a lot of time, eliminating the need to manually send messages.

To start setup click "Create Connection".

Select a system as the Data Source. In this case, you must specify Webhooks .

Next, you need to specify the system to which the data from the Webhooks will be transmitted. In this case, you must specify Webex Interact.

The next step is to select the Webhooks account from which SaveMyLeads will get the data.
If there are no account connected to the system, click "Connect account".
If desired, you can change its name or simply click "Continue".


When the connected account is displayed in the "active accounts" list, select it.

Next, you need to copy the "URL for receiving data", click "Continue" and go to your account, that supports data transfer via Webhooks.

For the example work in this guide, we will copy this link and go to the Fillout account, configure the form to transfer data via webhooks.
You can do the same on any other system that supports webhooks.
Go to the selected form, to the Integrate tab and select Webhook. Paste the copied link in the appropriate field and click Finish Setup


The next step is to select the Webex Interact account to which the data will be sent.
If there are no accounts connected to the SaveMyLeads system, click "Connect account".

In the window that opens, you need to fill in the "API token" field.
To do this, go to your Webex Interact personal account.

Go to the "Developers" - "API projects" tab.
Enter a name for the key and click "Create".


After that, copy the API key and paste it into the appropriate field in the SaveMyLeads system.

When the connected account is displayed in the "active accounts" list, select it.
Attention! If your account is in the "inactive accounts" list, check your access to this account!

Now you need to specify the field where the recipient's phone number will be taken from.
You also need to specify the sender's alpha name, which you have registered in the Webex Interact service.
In the Message field, you can use both system variables, such as time, date, year, month, day, and variables from the Data Sources system.
You can combine these variables in any way convenient for you.



Now you can see what the future SMS message will look like, according to the selected data.
Click "Send test data to Webex Interact" and go to the Webex Interact cabinet in the appropriate group to test the connection.
If something does not suit you - click "Back" and go back one step.
If everything suits you, click "Finish setup" to continue the setup.

On the main screen, click on the gear icon to select name of the connection and select a group for it, if necessary.

When the slider is in the position as shown in the picture - auto-update works. If you want to disable communication, click this slider.
