The social network introduced a pilot program in which job seekers will be able to job work using videos as a resume. Acceptance of resumes, in the form of video clips, will last from 7 to 31 July.

TikTok platform has announced a new experiment. The company has launched a pilot program in which users will be able to post resumes and find jobs from large companies and brands.

The pilot program will run from July 7 to July 31 and is limited to the United States only. Anyone can create a video resume, that is, short videos in which they demonstrate their skills and talents in one way or another. The video is then posted on TikTok with the special hashtag #TikTokResumes.

The list of vacancies and companies offering vacancies can be found on the website tiktokresumes.com specially created for the program. Having found the desired vacancy, the user must fill out a short form and attach a link to their video resume to it. Companies participating in the TikTok pilot project include Abercrombie & Fitch, Chipotle, e.l.f. Beauty, Popsugar, Shopify, Target and several others.

The project will allow TikTok to explore a new business area that potentially generates additional revenue for the platform, and forge deeper relationships between brands and content creators.
