Pinterest has informed its users that it is making significant innovations in online shopping. The image saving service has long been a place where shoppers look for a variety of shopping ideas and product offers, and stores promote their pages and establish additional distribution channels.

Now this process will become even easier - buyers are given the opportunity to make purchases directly in the application, without having to go to the store website, switch between applications and waste time in this way. For some purchases on Pinterest, the ability to place an order through the application itself has already been launched, in the future this option will be expanded. So far, such a tool is only available for a number of stores created on Shopify.

Also in test mode for a limited number of users, a new feature of personalized offers in the field of shopping has also been launched. It is a separate tab called Your Shop, which can be found in the Pinterest Presents section. Based on users actions, the most personalized offers from stores and brands that present their products on Pinterest will be selected for them.
