Microsoft has introduced Frontier Company, a dedicated organization created to support businesses adopting AI across their operations. Backed by a $2.5 billion investment, this new organization brings together thousands of engineering and industry professionals to help customers design, deploy, and refine AI systems focused on real business performance.

The company aims to help organizations build an intelligence platform where proprietary data, expertise, and business processes can continuously strengthen AI-powered workflows over time. Microsoft says the initiative combines technical expertise with industry knowledge to improve operational efficiency, support ongoing optimization, and help businesses maximize the value of their AI investments.

Microsoft notes that this approach has already been applied in projects with organizations including LSEG, Unilever, Land O'Lakes, and Novo Nordisk, where AI solutions are continuously refined using real-world feedback. The company also plans to expand the initiative through its global consulting partner network. Rodrigo Kede Lima will lead the new organization.
