Search engine users are now able to click on the "Buy Now" button directly in the search results and go straight to the shopping cart.
The integration of Microsoft's Bing search engine and the Shopify e-commerce platform was announced back in October. Now the companies have announced that new opportunities for stores and customers are already available for use. In both Bing Search and Bing Shopping search results, shoppers will be able to find listings and descriptions of products offered by stores.
According to Microsoft, users have access to the offerings of millions of sellers from Shopify. Thus, buyers will have a greater variety of product choices, and sellers will be able to gain access to a wider audience of the search engine. It is emphasized that the "Buy Now" button is already available directly in the search results. The buyer can click on it and go directly to the shopping cart on the store's website, avoiding intermediate transitions.
Merchants can set up integration with Microsoft Bing directly in their Shopify dashboard by choosing Microsoft as their advertising channel and connecting their account in the Microsoft Advertising system.
