Both online businesses and physical stores are increasingly using Google's tools for promotion. And the company itself presents more and more new opportunities for commerce. And one of the presented developments is the Local Opportunity Finder tool.

The main purpose of this option is to help businesses improve their search engine ranking and presence on Google Maps. In order to receive personalized advice, simply enter the name of the company, after that a list of actions that can improve the state of the business profile will be automatically generated. For example, it might be an advice to add some kind of information to the store profile on Maps.

In June, business users from a number of European countries, including the UK, Germany, Spain, France and Italy, will have access to the tool, and later similar opportunities will be available in other regions.

Google also makes it much easier to work with profiles in search results and Maps, now users can change most of the data directly, without having to switch to settings. Another step was introducing simplified integrations with Shopify and WooCommerce e-commerce platforms.
