Google has revealed Gemini Spark, a new AI assistant focused on automating everyday digital workflows across its ecosystem. The tool was presented during the company’s developer event as part of Google’s broader push into agentic AI technology.

Built on Gemini models and Google’s Antigravity framework, Spark is designed to complete longer and more complex tasks with limited user involvement. The assistant operates through cloud-based virtual machines, allowing processes to continue even when a user’s device is offline.

A major advantage of Spark is its native connection with Google services. The assistant works directly with Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Chrome, giving users access to built-in automation without configuring third-party integrations manually.

The company also confirmed support for additional external services through MCP connections. Spark is currently being tested internally and is expected to become available soon for subscribers of Google AI Ultra plans.
