The platform is rolling out the group shopping option and testing the updated live shopping experience. Shopping recommendations are also added.
Social network Facebook has introduced a series of updates aimed at adding e-commerce tools available to users. One of the most significant innovations is the addition of the Shops in Groups option. With the new feature, group admins will be able to create an online store on a linked Facebook page. Thus, groups have the opportunity to monetize their work, since often the management of groups is free of charge.
Another option that is now available to users is the ability to add tagging recommendations to the product in the store on Facebook. Such a recommendation can be placed, for example, in the comments.
The platform also updates the Live Shopping tools. The partnership between brands and content creators can now be deeper, as there is the possibility of cross-streaming both on the brand page and on the page of the content author promoting the brand.
