Adobe has rolled out its AI assistant across key Creative Cloud apps such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io. The feature is driven by Adobe’s creative agent, built to manage complex production tasks while keeping full creative control in the hands of users.

The updated functionality is intended to assist creative teams throughout the entire content production process. The system helps maintain consistency across projects, identify potential errors, process large volumes of materials, and streamline collaboration, enabling more efficient work across different formats and platforms.

In Photoshop, the assistant can automate repetitive image work such as removing backgrounds in bulk, reorganizing layered files, and quickly resizing assets for different formats. In Illustrator, it supports production tasks by generating multiple design variations from structured inputs, turning datasets into visual layouts, and preparing consistent artwork versions for different outputs. In InDesign, it helps update branding across multi-page documents, align typography and styles with refreshed guidelines, and run quick pre-checks to ensure layouts are ready for print or digital publishing.

The AI assistant is currently available in public beta for Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Frame.io, while users of After Effects can access the technology through a private beta program. Adobe aims to give creators more time to focus on storytelling, design, and other high-value creative decisions.
